    1. I’m usually ordering stuff from eBay and Amazon but I want to try those small online Hong Kong shops, especially that one of the readers offered me that his girlfriend can help me with finding them 🙂 Marta also suggested Taobao but I’m not sure about their credit card security, never really ordered anything from there 🙂

  1. I think Taobao ships to most countries, but then it’s shipped by EMS and you would have to pay an additional fee, at least that’s what I’ve heard… >.< haha. Taobao got some really nice things, but you have to make sure that you buy from a "top seller" I've been tricked a few times, and gotten something completely different from what it looked like in the picture .. Anyways, I can't wait to read about the clothing and see it 🙂 It's such a great idea !

  2. my problem is that Asian clothes may be a perfect fit for a girl with a small build, “larger” European women won’t be able to order anything from a Korean or Chinese shop 🙂 Their XL size is basically S in European terms 😀

  3. I don’t think I’ve ever seen other reviews on online bought clothes before. I think I’m still a bit too hesitant to buy clothes online because you never know what exactly will you get, but it’s interesting to read about it nevertheless.

  4. I have a randomly related Asian style question. I’ve been living in Taiwan for almost three years now and a friend of mine (Taiwanese) has turned me on to the idea of getting a qipao made, I really love it and i think it would be so cool to have one, but I don’t know if there are any pre-existing faux pauxs of a western girl in a qipao, just wondering your opinion on the matter. Thanks!

    1. Hi there 🙂 I think it shouldn’t be a problem, I never heard of any faux pas so I asked my husband and he said that Asian girls wear them only for certain occasions, but for Western girls there shouldn’t be any – lots and lots of girls are getting photo-shoots in theme or just buy as a souvenir, I had one for our wedding as well so I guess you should be fine 🙂
