澳門的聖誕節 – Christmas in Macau

You didn’t expect this, did you? No one expects the Spanish inquisition and me IMG_1574writing a post more than once a week. But since last Thursday I showed you Christmas in Hong Kong, the only fair thing to do now is share pictures of Christmas time in Macau we took!

I’m not a photographer and definitely I’m a low-budget blogger so somehow my photos look much better on my phone rather than on my PC, but I hope you will enjoy this photo-post, maybe share some of your experiences with Christmas abroad if you still haven’t done that in previous post and it wouldn’t be a post written by me if there wasn’t a photo that includes caked. Also…

Our whole family, including me and Biscuit, because Sing is not here to take adorable family picture like we did last year so sadly you have to see the 1538756_192057487651383_1486902643_nsame one, BUT: we want to wish you have happy holidays, with people you love and that this time will be full of joy. I also want to wish all the girls that the food we will eat during this time will only go to the chest area and build a muffin top. Hey, that’s important too! With all the goodies and laziness 🙂 I hope upcoming year will be even better and more successful than this one, for each one of you.
Merry Christmas everyone! Best wishes! 🙂

  1. What are you talking about, those photos still look really nice! 🙂 I’m a phone photographer myself and definitely guilty of the post-photo image enhancements on my PC.

  2. I concur with Maria! those are really nice photos (honestly, I was surprised those were photos from a phone). Whether you like the instax camera (fits your personality), a nice camera (like gunnar mentioned) or just using your phone, it’s still nice to have to see moments you felt were worthy of capturing.

On another note, I’ve never seen photos from a street view of Macau let alone been there in person, so it’s really cool to see portugese written language with chinese. One of these days I’ll visit Brazil since it’s the closest former Portuguese colony to me. Which reminds me, I want to try out the portuguese-chinese cuisine restaurant here in my town soon.

Looks like I’ve decided jump forward to December and work my way backwards to your older posts and at the same time to your newer ones….kinda awkward if I was putting comments of your Xmas posts during the summer or fall…. hahal. 😀

    1. my favorite thing was a pork chop bun because it reminded me of time when I was young and when I couldn’t finish my meal my mom reheat me the pork chop from the dinner and just put it inside a bun haha 🙂 but I have to say the cuisine is great! 🙂
feel free to comment any time 😀 and happy Christmas 🙂

      1. I’ll have to try the pork chop bun then!
By the way, I imagine it’s though to have to spend holidays away from your spouse, so I’m wishing you and Sing a very Merry Christmas! Keep your spirits up! 🙂

  5. I have been once to Macau, it felt weird because there are Portuguese signs everywhere (also in some of your pics!) and it looks very much like Portugal, which basically is 100 km away from my hometown in Spain…

    Merry Christmas!
